The Senate cleared a couple procedural hurdles on Feb. 12, nearing passage of a bill that would provide aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.

‘I think we should stay here as long as it takes,’ the Kentucky senator told CNN.

This comes one day after the Senate failed to advance a similar bill that included border and immigration provisions.

The second bill includes $60 billion in assistance for Ukraine and $14.1 billion for Israel.

Republican senators declared the bipartisan border bill ‘dead’ before it even goes to the floor for a vote on Wednesday.
