Ford Motor Co. reported $2.6 billion in first-quarter profits this week, its best quarterly showing in 13 years, on strong domestic demand and popularity of fuel-efficient vehicles.
Ford Taurus: Ford introduced its 2013 Taurus sedan this week. The new Taurus has “better fuel economy, more technology, design refinement, improved craftsmanship and enhanced driving dynamics,” Ford said.
Early spectators preview the NY International Auto Show at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan and inspect a new Rolls Royce. The auto show opens to the public on Friday April 2 and runs through the April 10.
The New York International Auto show kicked off on Wednesday, and any sign of economic storms were difficult to detect inside the Jacob Javitz Center.
