Ms. Lamon said she especially enjoyed the blend of Western and Chinese instruments in the orchestra — something that no other orchestra has ever done.

Ms. Kalandra said this was her first Chinese show.“It’s different. It’s very nice. It’s bright. It’s vibrant. It’s different. I’ve never really seen anything like this.”

“I’m absolutely impressed. It was an incredible performance and it’s obviously a wonderful experience and certainly a depiction of 5,000 years of Chinese culture,” Meffe said.
