The Seattle City Council on Tuesday voted to override Mayor Jenny Durkan’s veto of bills that would slash police funding by roughly $3 million.
Seattle’s Jenny Durkan on Aug. 31 filed a petition asking the Supreme Court to halt a recall effort against her, arguing that she hadn’t violated any law.
