The G train between Brooklyn and Queens is back on track after five weeks of service outages for repairs. Starting 5 a.m. Tuesday, service resumed between Nassau Avenue station in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, to Court Square in Long Island City, Queens.
G train service was extended five more stops beyond Smith/9th streets in July 2009, due to track work. Now, the extension further southeast into Brooklyn may be discontinued.
