Futoshiki

Futoshiki Online

Futoshiki is a logic puzzle with a similar grid-based layout to Sudoku. The goal is to fill the grid with digits so that each row and column contains all the numbers (usually 1 to 5 for a standard 5x5 puzzle) without repetition. However, Futoshiki adds an extra challenge: inequality symbols (greater than or less than) are placed between some cells, indicating that one number must be larger than the other.

How to Play

Begin by looking at the pre-filled numbers and inequality symbols on the Futoshiki grid. Use the symbols to deduce which numbers are higher or lower than their neighbors. Follow the same row and column rules as Sudoku (no repetitions allowed). Combine the inequality clues with the row and column restrictions to progressively fill in the grid until you reach the complete solution.
