The Duggars, known from the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting, have been busy this year.

The second-oldest daughter Jill was married and recently her younger sister Jessa was engaged to Ben Seewald, who recently moved into the Duggars guest home and has been helping patriarch Jim Bob with work around the land.

The Duggars strict dating rules include not kissing until a couple is married, something 21-year-old Jessa recently discussed.

“We’re really looking forward to the first kiss!” she told ABC News of herself and 19-year-old Seewald.

“We’re talking about it -- what if we miss or mess up? We’re gonna have to plan this out or something!”

Jessa also discussed some details of the wedding.

“The guest list is pretty big, but not as big as my sisters” she said.

“My list is a little smaller [than Jill’s was], but then Ben’s guest list is bigger Derick’s. It will be another Duggar-sized wedding!”

The couple might re-use Jill’s decorations and other items to save money.

“We’re gonna go really simple with a lot of our food and even flowers and that type of stuff. People spend so much on flowers, it’s outrageous!” Duggar said. “I‘ll go to the grocery and buy flowers! I don’t know how many flowers we’ll have in nature if it’s cold outside but I was like, ‘How about we just go pick [some]?’”

Meanwhile, Jim Bob and his wife Michelle are preparing to talk at the upcoming Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C, according to the unofficial family blog.

The event will be held from September 26 through September 28 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

“Values Voter Summit was created in 2006 to provide a forum to help inform and mobilize citizens across America to preserve the bedrock values of traditional marriage, religious liberty, sanctity of life and limited government that make our nation strong,” according to the website’s description of the event. Speakers have included Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Glenn Beck.

Jim Bob’s eldest son Josh Duggar, the executive director of FRC Action, is also on the schedule.
