Cody Walker, one of Paul Walker’s brothers, has deleted his Instagram account.

Cody had previously posted several photos on the account, and vowed in a description of one of the photos to carry on the charity work that Paul started.

Paul founded Reach Out WorldWide with his friend and business partner Roger Rodas, who died with him on November 30 in a car crash.

The charity specialized in sending small but highly mobile teams to disaster areas to help clean-up. A team was recently sent to the Philippines in the wake of Typhoon Yolanda.

Cody said in a Instagram post that he and the rest of the family appreciate the support they’ve received during the difficult time following Paul’s death.

“One of the many things I admired about my brother was his genuine desire to help others in need,” Cody said. “As many of you know, in 2010 @paulwalker founded @reachoutww, a disaster relief organization. It is with great honor that I have decided to join the ROWW team as Brand Manager.”

He added, “I look forward to working with like-minded individuals and partners to ensure ROWW continues to aid those in need in the years to come. As Paul would say ‘when you put good will out there, it’s amazing what can be accomplished.’ We can all make a difference in this world and I am honored to join the ROWW team in fulfilling my brother’s legacy and ensure that the good my brother did lives on.”

Cody also said in another post that he and his friend Scott Eastwood attended a celebrity high-stakes poker tournament at the Sundance Film Festival, and that the proceeds went to Reach Out Worldwide.

The Instagram posts are the only public comments Cody has made following Paul’s death.

Numerous social media accounts alleging to be Cody have turned out to be fake, with poor spelling and even brand advertising tied in.

This account appeared legitimate because there was no commercial draw to the account, and only two carefully chosen photos posted.

The second photo, of Cody and Scott, hadn’t appeared anywhere else before it was posted on the account.
