Hillary Clinton held a fundraising event in tents outside Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper’s Denver house. However, when it came time for her to start her speech, reporters across the street covering the event were treated with an unpleasant surprise: static noise.

Stan Bush of Denver’s CBS-4 was on the scene, saying “Guess @HillaryClinton campaign dsn’t (sic.) want reporters to hear fundraiser speech. Turned on a static noise machine pointed at us when she spoke”

Bush said that the noise interference machine was turned on after a band finished playing and before Clinton spoke. The device was placed inside the property behind the gate and aimed in the direction of the press, Bush explained.
