According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Premier Wen Jiabao has decided to postpone his official visits to Russia, France, and other European countries next month.
He had scheduled visits to France, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, and other European countries for the middle of next month. However, he unexpectedly canceled the visits today. According to AFP’s report, no reason was given for Wen’s sudden decision to cancel the visits. A Ministry official only said, “Wen Jiabao has some more important domestic affairs to take care of.”
