In an “Urgent Announcement” a special investigative group reports an alarming increase in the number of organ transplants being done in transplant centers throughout China. Published on the Clearwisdom website by the Integrated Committee to Investigate the Secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the announcement concludes that the Chinese communist regime is killing detainees in Sujiatun and other concentration camps in an effort to hide the evidence of mass murder and live organ harvesting.

The Integrated Committee’s investigation has learned that hospitals and transplant centers in Heilongjiang, Hunan, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Anhui, Shan'xi and Xinjiang are operating overtime to perform transplant operations. This surge in activity is said to be due to the release of information over the past three weeks about the slaughter that has gone on at Sujiatun and other concentration camps in China at least since 2001.

Mass Murder through Live Organ Harvesting

The Epoch Times first reported on March 9 the existence of a concentration camp in the Sujiatun District of Shenyang City in Liaoning Province, China, whose sole purpose is the harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners. The source for this report is a journalist who had worked since 1999 for a Japanese television station in the area around Shenyang. Knowing he was putting his life at risk in revealing what he had discovered, he felt compelled to reveal what he termed “worse than any nightmare:” the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for the purpose of sale to doctors for use in organ transplants.

Two other witnesses with direct knowledge of this slaughter of Falun Gong practitioners have since confirmed this first report. One of them is a former staff member of the Liaoning Thrombus Treatment Center of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine whose ex-husband had worked as a surgeon performing the organ harvesting. She reported that the Sujiatun camp had held 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners at one time, but that two-thirds of these had been killed by organ harvesting, with their bodies quickly cremated.

The other witness, a veteran military doctor in the region of Shenyang, confirmed the reports, but added that the Sujiatun camp was only one of thirty-six concentration camps where the widespread practice of organ harvesting takes place. One of these, a camp in Jilin Province, is said to hold about 14,000 practitioners. Another camp in Jilin Province referred to as 672-S is said to hold over 120,000 inmates, including Falun Gong practitioners, other prisoners of conscience, and felons.

The reports of these witnesses as to what has taken place in Sujiatun have also been confirmed by investigations done by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (W.O.I.P.F.G.).

As the news of the mass murder in Sujiatun has gotten out, responses have begun to build. The U.S. State Department raised the issue of Sujiatun with the Chinese regime last week, and members of Congress have begun asking for explanations.

In Canada, the Green Party urged the Canadian government to act on the reports of the Sujiatun death camp, and individual members of all four major parties have urged the government to act.

‘Come in Quickly’

According to the Integrated Committee’s announcement, transplant hospitals in China are now telling patients to “come in quickly” to get transplants. Patients are told that matching organs can be found at this time in as short as one or two days. The hospitals are also reported to say that “it will be difficult after this batch of organs is used up.”

The Integrated Committee’s announcement that there has been a rapid increase in organ harvesting in China concurs with an April 4 report issued by W.O.I.P.F.G. that the number of organ transplants has recently rapidly increased in Tianjin.

The Integrated Committee explains this rapid increase as part of a plan by the Chinese regime to hide all evidence to what had taken place in the concentration camps. Once the remaining inmates are slaughtered, none would be left to be witnesses.

According to the Committee, immediately after the Sujiatun Camp was exposed, the Chinese regime hastily published the “Interim Regulation for Human Organ Transplant Practice,” a document meant to provide a legal fig-leaf for the regime with new regulations governing the several decades-old practice of harvesting organs from prisoners. However, this document does not go into effect until July 1.

The delay in the implementation of the new regulation allows the Chinese regime time to put a cover-up in place and eliminate all evidence of the slaughter, according to the Integrated Committee’s announcement.

The Integrated Committee is a group formed on April 4 by the Clearwisdom website and the Falun Dafa Association. Its mission is “to form an Integrated Committee with all related international organizations, state agencies and media in requesting to go to China to conduct an independent, direct, interference-free investigation to collect evidence, and completely search for the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong, including the Sujiatun Concentration Camp and other secret concentration camps located elsewhere to end this 7-year brutal persecution [of Falun Gong practitioners].”
