In the next week, a Manhattan judge may issue a $657.5 million ruling for the workers who helped clean up the toxic Ground Zero site after the 9/11 attacks.

The U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein will listen to the testimony from some of the first responders, said an NTDTV report.

“Six months after, I was diagnosed with asthma, PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder]; throughout the years upper respiratory [disease] and mesothelioma,” said an injured first responder Avelino Montalva in the report. “Everyday I’m suffering. I am on 17 medications. I’m on disability.”

Individual workers may be awarded from thousands of dollars to over $1 million, according to the report.
