The state has awarded nearly $5.4 million to build four affordable housing project in New York City, according to a press release from Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The four projects will be built in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, for 273 total affordable housing units.
The allocation for New York City is part of a $95 million investment in affordable housing statewide.
“In 2014 every New Yorker deserves a safe, decent and affordable place to call home,” Cuomo stated in a press release.
