Black Eyed Peas Perform at Super Bowl XLVThe Black Eyed Peas performed their hit songs “I Gotta Feeling” and “Boom Boom Pow” at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Usher and guitarist Slash also made appearances.

The group of four literally descended onto the stage clad in illuminated black space suits.

The pop band was an easy pick for the exciting and high-energy football event, and their lyrics “I gotta feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night” matched the buzzing atmosphere.

However, some technical problems took points away from the ultimate effect of the performance, with sound issues making it hard to decipher the singers’ voices.

After the musical group finished their two hit songs, rock and roll star Slash played “Sweet Child O’ Mine” with Fergie. Then the Black Eyed Peas resumed with “Pump It” and “Get it Started.”

Later, Usher appeared for “OMG” with Will.I. Am., arriving amid clouds of dry ice, to help get the crowd pumped up.
