“American Horror Story” Season 4 fans got riled up this week after a fake photo of a two-headed character went viral.

Sarah Paulson wrote on Twitter that the photo, which is still being shared on Twitter on Monday, is a fake.

She said the photo doesn’t represent anything that will be shown in Season 4.

“Everyone thinks that is the character of Dot and Bette in terms of the way I look — that’s just what the company came up with [to] digitally show the two heads to Ryan,” she told Vulture. “They used a picture of me as Lana Winters because it was in the period. So that’s not what I'll actually look like as Dot and Bette.”

However, she apparently will play as a two-headed character.

“I’ve known about this since the middle of last season,” she added. “I know how much people want to know and how much they actually like to be surprised, and I knew that I could never do anything until Ryan told me that I could and once I got the go-ahead.”

“American Horror Story” will not start filming until July 2014.

Paulson, in the last season, played Cordelia Foxx, who is the headmistress of young witches.

“He was wrapped all around my business and [at one point], I had Frenched Butter. His tongue went right in my mouth, right up my nose. And you know, call me crazy, but in the moment, I was like, ‘Yeah, Butter. Butter, get it,’” she told the Los Angeles Times.

Next season is set in the 1950s during a freak show.

“I did make a request about this character,” Paulson said of her character next season. “And [Ryan] did give it to me.”
