Victims of AirAsia Flight 8501 appeared to be holding hands in the water, according to reports from Indonesian search and rescue teams.

Based on what Rahmat, a local fisherman in remote Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, heard and saw, search teams finally located AirAsia Flight 8501.

Indonesian officials said Saturday that they were confident wreckage of AirAsia Flight 8501 had been located after sonar equipment detected four massive objects on the ocean floor.

AirAsia Flight QZ-8501, which crashed last weekend, had bordered “on the edge of logic” before it went down, an expert has said.

In the past few years, Southeast Asian airlines have experienced remarkable growth, driven primarily by the rapid expansion of low-cost carriers, like AirAsia.
