Actor Eric Roberts has made the inexplicable claim that former President George W. Bush killed James Foley, who was recently beheaded by the terrorist group ISIS.
Roberts decided to comment on September 1 on the situation.
“W killed James Foley. George W Bush. He is the forgotten president as we forget & block severe trauma,” Roberts told his Twitter followers.
“@BarackObama stands for compassion,” he added.
Twitter users were confused about where Roberts was coming from.
“Ummmmm...... Are you suffering from a head trauma? Or are you naturally ignorant?” said one user.
“Kids, this is how your brain looks on drugs,” said one user.
“Seriously, O’s been prez for 6 YEARS! When does he take responsibility for his policies?” said another.
“Advertising the level of your stupidity to the world isn’t advisable,” added yet another.
Conservative websites Twitchy and Newsbuster took note of the tweet, which Roberts has not followed up on with any explanation.
“Truly pathetic. Seek help, man,” Twitchy said.
Eric Roberts is a brother to Julia Roberts.
His daughter Emma Roberts is also an actor.
