Beijing has seized on Australian concerns about the impact of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s intention to impose tariffs across a range of imports.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mouthpiece, China Daily, has heaped praise on Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for showing “strategic autonomy” in an editorial piece.
