There are literally tens of thousands of stray dogs wandering the streets of Los Angeles every day, homeless and hungry. Los Angeles-based dog rescue organization Hope For Paws has many a good Samaritan to thank, though, for doing their part to call in when they find stray dogs in need.

Someone called the rescue team about a German shepherd that was trapped in a fenced compound where street signs are stored. She had walked in, apparently, and had been trapped when the gate closed behind her.
