SHANGHAI—Authorities in China have blocked Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia’s owner said on May 15.
“In April, the Wikimedia Foundation determined that Wikipedia was no longer accessible in China,” Samantha Lien, spokeswoman for the Wikimedia Foundation, which owns Wikipedia, said in an email.
