A young JP Morgan Chase banker was caught stealing over a million dollars from his employer and their customers.

[xtypo_dropcap]A[/xtypo_dropcap]t just 28, JPMorgan Chase banker Hao “Howie” Wang was busted on Monday for stealing more than $1.1 million from his employer and their customers, according to an indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance.

“The defendant had access to confidential files and financial information, and used it to steal money, as well as the identities of four individuals,” said DA Vance.

Wang worked at the retail branch of Chase at 270 Park Avenue from Dec. 2007 to July 2008.

Wang had various schemes he pulled off. Around Feb. 28, 2008, he fraudulently obtained a loan from JPMC in the amount of $100,000 by using the identity of a person without that individual’s knowledge or authorization.
