Border Mayors Call on Federal Government to Drop ArriveCan App

A group of mayors from Canada’s border communities is calling on the federal government to drop the ArriveCan app and vaccination requirements at the Canada-U.S. land border.

In a press conference on June 15, the mayors and business representatives from the communities said the Liberal government’s pandemic travel rules have been “inconsistent” and said it has been devastating their communities and discouraging American tourists from coming.
