Border Agency Mulls Ending Customs Check for Passengers With Canadian Stopovers

Canada’s border agency is considering dropping its requirement for international travellers to report to customs before setting off on their travels abroad.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has launched a 30-day consultation on the proposed regulatory change known as the Free Flow International-to-International (ITI) Transit initiative that would remove the obligation for passengers to check in while transiting through a Canadian airport en route to an international destination.
