Toronto police made two arrests at the Al-Quds Day rally outside the U.S. Consulate in Toronto this weekend, after an Ontario judge dismissed the provincial government’s move to stop the event.
“We have a heavy police presence in the downtown area today,” the Toronto Police Service (TPS) said in a post on X on Saturday, when the pro-Palestinian demonstration was held at the U.S. Consulate location, just days after the downtown site was targeted by gunfire.
