There is a homeless crisis in the United States, and part of the government’s response is to fix the problem by giving money to different states to provide housing. This approach is often criticized as subsidizing the problem, rather than solving it.
One of the organizations that has had success in helping homeless people get back on their feet is Saint John’s. To learn more about models that have been shown to work, we sat down for an interview with Michele Steeb, former CEO of Saint John’s and author of “Answers Behind the Red Door: Battling the Homeless Epidemic.”
