The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 205.67 points, or 0.68 percent, at the open to 30,570.50.
The S&P 500 opened higher by 28.57 points, or 0.76 percent, at 3,764.05, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 140.06 points, or 1.29 percent, to 10,968.40 at the opening bell.
