NEW YORK—A tentative trial date for the high-profile case of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was set on July 31 by U.S. District Judge Richard Berman during a brief court hearing in a Manhattan federal court.
Berman set the date, which he said could change in the coming months, for June 8, 2020. Epstein’s counsel, meanwhile, argued for a date around Labor Day, in September 2020.
