NASA Introduces Artemis III Crew

Mission leaders expressed confidence that Blue Origin’s New Glenn will be ready to participate in the mission despite the recent explosion.

NASA and European Space Agency leaders gathered in Houston on June 9, and unveiled an all-star crew of astronauts assigned to the Artemis III mission and its challenge to bridge the gap between Artemis II’s historic lunar flyby and Artemis IV’s prospective lunar landing.

NASA astronauts Randy Bresnik, Frank Rubio, and Andre Douglas, as well as European Space Agency astronaut Luca Parmitano, will embark on what is being called one of the most complex missions ever attempted.
