The Biden administration’s handling of border security was the subject of the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee’s first hearing on Feb. 1, with several committee members following the hearing by discussing the possible impeachment of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for what they say is a failure to take necessary actions to secure the border.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-N.J.) told NTD, a sister media outlet to The Epoch Times, that he would favor impeaching Mayorkas, although he noted the committee’s majority hasn’t yet reached a decision on the matter.
