A former aide to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is now serving as a senior official of the New York State Communist Party.
The former staffer, Justine Medina, had previously worked for Ocasio-Cortez’s reelection campaign as a key policy writer in 2020, The New York Post discovered.The Communist Party newspaper, People’s World, publicized her new position on the Executive Committee of the New York State Communist Party.
