Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook Sues Trump Over Firing
Cook said Trump had denied her due process and used the mortgage allegations as a pretext to attack the Federal Reserve.

Member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors Lisa Cook has sued President Donald Trump in Washington, alleging that he denied her due process in his attempt to fire her.
According to the lawsuit, filed on Aug. 28, she is asking a federal court to order the Fed and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell to not follow Trump’s decision.
