The memorial service for Charlie Kirk, political commentator and founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), will be held on Sept. 21 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Kirk, 31, was shot and killed during the start of his American Comeback tour on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University in Orem.
Kirk, who is survived by his wife, Erika Kirk, and their two young children, will be eulogized by his wife as well as President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and others.
According to the TPUSA website, in lieu of flowers, the organization asks that mourners consider supporting the organization that he started at age 18, which plans to move forward with Erika Kirk at the helm.
Venue and Event Details
In addition to the late TPUSA founder’s wife, the president and vice president, several other high-profile political figures are expected to attend, and possibly speak during the event.
Some of those figures include Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Director of National Security Tulsi Gabbard.
Other notable guests include White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, the president’s eldest child, Donald Trump Jr., political commentator Tucker Carlson, White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, and director of White House personnel Sergio Gor.
The worship portion of the event will be led by Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, and other notable faith leaders. There will also be performances by Lee Greenwood and Steve Amerson.
“This event is first-come, first-served based on stadium capacity,” the announcement stated. “Indoor overflow will be available next door at the Desert Diamond Arena.”

Erika Krik was named the CEO and board chair of TPUSA on Sept. 18, just over a week after her husband’s death.Prior to her appointment, Erika Kirk delivered an emotional address on Sept. 12.
“Two days ago, my husband, Charlie, went to see the face of his Savior and his God. Charlie always said that when he was gone, he wanted to be remembered for his courage and for his faith,” she said from the studio of “The Charlie Kirk Show.”
“And one of the final conversations that he had on this Earth, my husband witnessed for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now and for all eternity, he will stand at his Savior’s side, wearing the glorious crown of a martyr.”
Erika told viewers that her husband’s mission would go forward and that she believed this would only amplify Charlie Kirk’s message to the world.
Just a few days later, on Sept. 15, Vance and other senior administration officials hosted a special edition of “The Charlie Kirk Show” live from the White House in tribute to him.
Vance called for unity in the face of the tragedy, saying, “The last several days have been extremely hard for our country, they’ve been hard for me, hard for my family, hard for the countless people in this building who knew and loved Charlie Kirk—and, of course, they’ve been hardest, most of all, for his darling wife, Erika, and their two beautiful children. The thing is, every single person in this building—we owe something to Charlie.”
Vance even went so far as to attribute his position to the late commentator, saying, “If it weren’t for Charlie Kirk, I would not be the vice president of the United States.”
