A 9-year-old was fatally struck by a pickup truck in Mississippi while trying to board a school bus just one day after a truck in Indiana killed three children trying to board a bus.
All of the children were walking across the road to reach a bus stopped on the other side. In Mississippi, officials said Dalen Thomas was walking across a highway in Marietta when he was hit by the truck around 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 31.
