WASHINGTON—Two National Guard members were shot near the White House on Nov. 26. Their condition is uncertain.
West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey initially posted that the guardsmen, both part of his state’s National Guard, passed away. In a subsequent post to social media, he said that “we are now receiving conflicting reports about the condition of our two Guard members and will provide additional updates once we receive more complete information.”
