The Vasari Consortium celebrates its inaugural Florence in New York trade show with an opening night on Monday, May 15 at 6 p.m. that promises to offer attendees a taste of the beauty and elegance of Florence and Tuscany.

The opening night will feature the flag bearers Bandierai degli Uffizi from the historic Florentine parade, a charity auction featuring artisan Tuscan products, and an opera concert with baritone Devid Cecconi (whose 2016 debut was at La Scala in Milan), soprano Georgina Stalbow, accompanied on the piano by maestro Massimo Barsotti.

Guest of honor chef Gabriele Corcos, the star of Cooking Channel’s “Extra Virgin,” and who is himself from Florence, will prepare a Tuscan dinner, with Chianti Classico pairings.

The trade show, on May 16–17, will showcase high-quality luxury products made in Tuscany spanning the areas of jewelry, leather goods, fashion, design, and food and wine.
