Being aware of our surroundings and knowing how to stay safe and seek escape when we need it, even in everyday places like a parking lot, can protect more than just your health.

Staying safe doesn’t have an age limit and doesn’t mean we have to become fearful or suspicious. To learn how, I took a safety lesson from an expert.
