Homeowners association (HOA) fees continue to spread across America, and a new Realtor.com report indicates that nearly 44 percent of homes now listed for sale carry HOA fees.

Climbing from 34.3 percent of homes for sale in 2019 to 43.6 percent of homes for sale in 2025, these homes are now part of a growing trend in which HOA fees are becoming part of the total cost of buying a home.
