The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado hit on Thursday night near Newman, Jackson, and Bolton.
The tornado was near Newman around 5:15 p.m., and moving past Edwards toward Bolton, Brownsville, and Pochahontas.
The tornado warning expired at 6:15 pm CST.
Multiple other counties were under a special wind advisory from 9 a.m. Friday morning to tomorrow evening.
No damage reports have emerged from local media outlets or officials as of 7:30 p.m.
