Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says that President Donald Trump may announce within the next few weeks a partial withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan that would begin next year.
Graham, who said he'd support such a drawdown, made the comments during a visit to the Afghan capital of Kabul on Dec. 16. He said the president could cut troop numbers to 8,600, down from the current 12,000.
