MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C.—Donald Trump-endorsed state Rep. Russell Fry avoided a runoff and defeated Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.), one of the former president’s most outspoken critics, in South Carolina’s 7th Congressional District primary on June 14.

With 98 percent of the votes reported on June 15 at 2 a.m. ET, Fry received 51.07 percent of the vote, followed by Rice at 24.54 percent, according to Decision Desk HQ.
