Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis hit back at targeted messaging from the White House on Aug. 4, telling President Joe Biden that he’s “standing in your way.”

Biden and officials in his administration have repeatedly singled out Florida recently, noting that COVID-19 cases there account for a significant portion of the new cases across the country.
