With the launch of a Persian edition this week, The Epoch Times raised the total number of its language editions to 21.

The Persian edition of The Epoch Times was officially launched on Jan. 12. This edition is meant to serve those speaking Persian in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, as well as in other parts of the globe.

“The Persian edition is the latest addition to our expanding organization, allowing us to bring news and reliable information about events and trends to all Persian-speaking people around the world,” said Lilly Wang, vice president of multi-lingual editions at The Epoch Times.

First started as a Chinese news organization in 2000, The Epoch Times has expanded to become the most widely distributed news organization in the world, publishing in 35 countries and 21 languages.
