Zayn Malik of One Direction has taken a long Twitter break following his 21st birthday.
Malik, who tweets considerable less than many of his bandmates, took a long break after a tweet on December 19.
He broke his silence on Twitter on January 15, telling his fans and friends thank you for their birthday messages.
The next night he tweeted: “Jhene aiko ft childish gambino bed peace ... Tune . < full stop"
Since then, January 16, he has not tweeted.
Malik and his bandmates are among the most popular individual Twitter accounts; Malik has over 11.7 million fans.
