A young boy was killed, his mother and sibling have grave injuries and a man is expected to recover after a shooting at a Westminster dentist office in Colorado on Thursday.

In a news release at 10:20 p.m., Westminster police spokeswoman Cheri Spottke said the police department believes it has one of the suspects in the shooting. The suspect’s identity will not be revealed at this time, but the police hope to reveal it by Friday.

The call came in at 3:05 p.m. and when the officers arrived, they blocked all the roads while they investigated the scene and interviewed any eyewitnesses around the Cedarwood Square Office Complex.

Spottke gave an update on the vehicle that was involved in the shooting—a black, four door Toyota with a Colorado license plate (NOQ-091). The occupants of the vehicle should be considered armed and dangerous. The police believe this vehicle of interest left at the time of the shooting, but the occupants haven’t been identified as suspects. The police are just looking to talk to them. They do not have confirmation on the number of people in the vehicle or the gender.
