Sony could be releasing new flagship phone, the Xperia Z3, as soon as September, according to rumors.
The Xperia Z3 might be unveiled at the IFA show in Berlin, Germany. The electronics and home appliances show will be held from the 5th to the 10th of September this year. The actual launch of the Xperia Z3 could take place at the end of the September, according to rumors.
Like most smartphone manufacturers, Sony is planning to release a “mini” version of its upcoming flagship phone. “Mini” flagship phones tend to be scaled down, less powerful, and cheaper versions of the main phone. Some examples include Samsung’s Galaxy S5 Mini and the HTC One Mini 2.
The “mini” version of the Xperia Z3 has been dubbed the Xperia Z3 Compact, and supposedly has a 4.6-inch 1080p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a 20.7 megapixel Exmor RS rear camera.
