“X-Men Days of Future Past” could include another mutant, per an update from fans that perused Empire magazine.
The magazine printed 25 different covers in an all-out coverage of the upcoming movie.
The Scarlet Witch wasn’t on any of the covers, but one of the photos scanned by fans from the inside of the magazine shows Pietro Maximoff before he became Quicksilver, with a young, red-haired girl that’s likely his sister.
That would be Wanda Maximoff, who grows up to become the Scarlet Witch.
Wanda and Pietro usually come as a package deal, reported Comic Book. They will do so in Avengers 2, also known as Avengers: Age of Ultron. Fans have been confused that Quicksilver would appear in “Days of Future Past” without the Scarlet Witch.
The picture may add to the confusion, as it appears that Pietro is much older than his sister, which means that she likely won’t be appearing in the movie. But she still could.
Quicksilver, meanwhile, is confirmed to appear, with a photo of him in action posted previously.
