Trolls will be getting their new models in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, but Blood Elves will only their make-over some time after the game is launched.

Blizzard Senior Art Director Chris Robinson announced via a flurry of tweets that the new model for trolls will be revealed in Artcraft “either next week or the week after,” and that they will be “in the launch” of Warlords of Draenor.

While the new Draenei models have yet to be unveiled, Robinson writes that they will be in the “initial batch” of model redesigns to be rolled out because Blizzard “started with them” during the redesign as they are “prolific in WoD.”

Unfortunately, the new Blood Elf models won’t be “up to par for” for the WoD release, and will only be available “sometime post WoD launch.”

Robinson also apologized for promising earlier that the Blood Elves will be updated in time for the WoD launch.

The Classic Warcraft races — Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome, Draenai, Orc, Undead, Tauren, Troll, and Blood Elf — are slated for a facelift in this expansion.

Blizzard has yet to announce a release date yet for WoW: WoD.

Currently, the game is in closed beta.

According to Blizzard

This phase of the beta test focuses on the Tanaan Jungle starting experience and allows players to continue on into Shadowmoon Valley (Alliance) and Frostfire Ridge (Horde). High-level content will become available for testing in future updates. Level-90 character templates are available if you'd like to try a new character, or you can copy over your own high-level characters.”
