Starting Dec. 5, low-cost carrier WOW air will launch a new route from seven metro U.S. areas to Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

To celebrate the new service, the airline is offering one-way sale fares at $199, which are applicable to 1,200 seats on selected flights. The price is based on the lowest one-way WOW basic fare when booking round-trip tickets online and is available for travel January through March 2019.

Sale fares are applicable to flights originating from Boston (BOS), Baltimore-Washington (BWI), Newark (EWR), Chicago (ORD), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), and San Francisco (SFO), flying through Iceland (KEF). 

“It’s clear that there is a great need for affordable travel between North America and Delhi,” said Skúli Mogensen, founder and CEO of WOW air, in a press release. On the New Delhi route, the airline will fly new Airbus A330neo aircrafts.

According to the press release, WOW air will offer service to New Delhi from the following airports at the end of 2018: Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Detroit (DTW), Newark (EWR), Los Angeles (LAX), Pittsburgh (PIT), San Francisco (SFO), St. Louis (STL), and Baltimore-Washington (BWI).
