Wales Scraps COVID-19 Vaccine Passports at Indoor and Outdoor Venues

The Welsh government has scrapped the requirement for COVID-19 vaccine passports as a condition of entry for both indoor and outdoor events.

The region’s Labour government introduced compulsory COVID passes in October 2021, requiring venues such as sports grounds, nightclubs, cinemas, theatres, and concert halls to check customers’ vaccination status.
