UK, US Announce Nuclear Energy Deal Ahead of Trump’s State Visit

Trump will arrive in the UK on Tuesday and be hosted by both King Charles and Prime Minister Keir Starmer during his stay.

The UK and the United States announced a new nuclear energy deal on Monday, ahead of President Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK on Sept. 16.

The UK Department of Energy said the move would “turbocharge the build-out of new nuclear power stations” and bring thousands of new jobs.
